Police look for two thieves following Newport Village break-in

Thieves escaped with an estimated $10,000 worth of products after breaking into what appears to be a Newport Village jewelry shop just after 4 a.m. on Feb. 25, according to the Port Moody Police Department.
The suspects used a crowbar to break into what appeared to be a jewelry shop before smashing display cases and stuffing jewelry into a bag, according to security footage released by police.
The suspects seemed to speak Farsi to each other, according to police. The two thieves – one heavy-set and the other with a medium build – were wearing masks, gloves and dark clothing.
