One hospitalized after Barnet Highway rollover

First responders rushed to a Barnet Highway ditch on Wednesday morning to cut open a pickup truck and pull out the injured driver.
“The driver sustained serious injuries and has been transported to hospital,” stated Port Moody Police Department spokesman Const. Sam Zacharias in a release.
The man was driving a dark-coloured Chevrolet pickup when the vehicle veered into a ditch on Barnet near Reed Point Way at approximately 10:15 a.m. The driver, who was the only person in the truck, was trapped inside.

“We are working to determine the cause of this collision,” Zacharias stated.
